Campos is one of the largest localities in the South of Majorca, approx. 40 kilometres away from Palma. The principal source of income of the locality is the agriculture as well as the production of cheese. Campos is a traditional place which appears rather dozy, out of the weekly market days of Thursday and Saturday. The approx. 7000 inhabitants are mainly Majorcan but also international residents who love the traditional Majorca have settled down here. In the South of the municipality of the same name you will find the wonderful sandy beach Platja des Trenc. The natural beach which is popular for its crystal clear water is approx. 5 km long and radiates a nearly Caribbean flair.
