The town of Llucmajor is situated approx. 15 km away from the airport of Palma at the feet of the mountain "Puig de Randa". With approx. 9.000 inhabitants, Llucmajor is a small town in the South of Majorca and is at the same time the administrative centre of the municipality of the same name. The place is relatively unaffected by the tourism and mainly inhabited by Majorcan's who live for the most part from the agriculture or from the shoe-manufacture. For the Majorcan's the place has an important historical value, as it was here where the battle of 1349 that preluded the end of the Majorcan kingdom, took place.
The properties in Llucmajor and in the surroundings were mostly built in a traditional finca style. Especially in the outskirts there are very well-tended urbanisations which shelter very interesting plots and real estates.
